I’m a London-based physical interaction designer with an interest in (among other things) games, performance, social aspects of interaction design, and surprising interfaces. I graduated from the Interactive Telecommunications Program in 2008, and I started working at Tinker.it! shortly thereafter. Prior to that, I did a lot of things, including medical and science writing and editing, teaching and tutoring, community organizing around environmental and LGBT issues, writing comics and zines, and studying math and physics.

Basically, I’m a generalist. I get really excited by systems and by hands-on work – from soldering to woodworking to origami – but I also care about things like education and social justice. My favorite kinds of work bring several of these threads together.
